Power Trio

Tight Grips is a power trio formed in the summer of 2014. To date, the band has released three albums: Storyline, Move Along, and Endless Gifts for Me, Myself and I.
With each release the band has evolved its musical approach. Their latest album is by far their heaviest and most progressive to date - drawing inspiration from the grunge movement of the 1990s as well as more recent stoner rock and progressive rock releases.
Following their releases, Tight Grips have performed at numerous major festivals and embarked on a mini tour of Great Britain. Most recently, they shared the stage with the almighty Villagers of Ioannina City.

Grungey sounding melodic stoner rock, with great vocals, reminding me a bit of Eddie Vedder at times. Towards the end of the set things got very psychedelic with great use of their synthesiser.
Driving bass lines, thunderous rhythms and crunchy riffs. Brought the energy and quickly cleared the beer soaked haze.
Their builds were patient and the nod that paid them off heavy and big-riff enough. A band that listens to and draws influence from more than one kind of music, even if that's mostly under the heavy umbrella.
